“Ross has been wonderful and I have enjoyed being in the Medical Billing and Coding Administration program. However, life circumstances have made it very difficult to compete the program and gain my externship hours. My engine went out on my vehicle causing me to lose my job and face extreme financial hardship. Because of this I cannot afford to Uber/Lyft to my site because that is approximately $50 a day.”
“Despite my commitment to furthering my education, I have experienced significant challenges due to financial hardship, lack of reliable transportation, and unstable living conditions.
As a low-income student, I have struggled to meet the high costs of daily living while also staying focused on my studies. This situation not only places a heavy financial burden on me, but it also creates additional stress and instability that makes it difficult to concentrate fully on my education.
In addition, I do not have consistent transportation. The lack of reliable access to school, externship sites, and other necessary resources has further impacted my ability to keep up with my program requirements. Each of these challenges has required me to make sacrifices and difficult choices, often having to prioritize immediate survival needs over school-related expenses.
Although I continue to remain determined to finish my program, these circumstances have greatly affected my ability to progress as smoothly as I had hoped.”
